The Joy of Divine Generosity: Christ Consciousness in Action

It’s not often that we can even admit or think of ourselves as Divine, when our upbringing and culture repeats that we are flawed or not worthy to think of ourselves as extensions of the One Source, the One Creative Power of Love, Peace, Joy and Unlimited Potential.

Yet we so often resist this higher truth of who we really are. In some ways it is easier to put the control center outside of ourselves, to do what a perceived authority says is good for us, see ourselves as not quite up to the responsibility of what it would be like to live up to being “Divine”. 

In my own Spiritual journey it was not until I came to New Thought, Unity and the channeling of Jeshua by Rev. Judith Coates that I began to understand that God is All that there is – the one Presence and One power – not missing anywhere, in anyone or in any situation.  God is not an entity outside of this universe, and does not have the human attributes of judgement, punishment, gender or human definitions of what pleases or displeases “Him”.  This power does not have to be persuaded to listen to us, doesn’t have favorites or has only worked miracles in the Bible. 

With this bigger understanding of God, I began to feel safe in this world of a Loving God.  It took a while but I have become convinced that I am loved by Spirit without having to be afraid of judgement or making a wrong move and facing eternal damnation.

It is an amazing revelation that all of our existence is in God, as pure unlimited unconditional Love and human potential for greatness. I experience God’s unlimited Generosity!  I am that Love, that abundance, the wisdom, that Allness, that is always with us. This is the Truth with capital T that exists whether or not I believe it.

God’s unlimitedness is our birthright.  Think about all we have been given just to experience life on this planet – the sunlight, the air we breathe, the earth to walk on, the night sky for sleep, our bodies with which to experience physicality, the water to drink and food to sustain us, families to grow and nurture us and learn from. Think of all that you have been given.

This human life of our Divine Self is a great Gift of Spirit. Be in great gratitude for this experience with all of its experiences.

Generosity towards others is another way to be God in action by sharing of Loving acts of kindness, sharing your prosperity and your Affirmative Prayer for the Highest Good of all, in accordance with Divine Plan and Divine order.  We don’t pray for miracles to “Set things right, but to See things Right” my Prayer Chaplain friend always reminds me.

Be in great gratitude for all that has been beautifully gifted to you and others in this life!  Fill this world with Love, Peace and Joy by embodying each of these qualities and give from the consciousness of abundance and appreciation for the never ending flow of Love that God has already made available to you. This is how we create and share the Love of our Sacred Community.

This is how we create and live in the Joy of Divine Generosity in Sacred Community! May Peace Prevail on Earth! So be it.

Let’s explore our Divine nature, also known as Christ consciousness. It is our awareness of our Oneness with Spirit and all of Creation.

WE are LIFE, with Divine consciousness that is infused with the Spirit that Loves us beyond our understanding and knows us as part of Itself!  Spirit has generously given everything needed for a joyous and harmonious life, if we will accept and align ourselves with this power.

God as Love is where you and I are standing and breathing.  “there is nowhere that God is not” no hiding place where another power can possibly challenge or slip in unnoticed. Spirit is the ultimate Giver of Life and we have life because of this ultimate generosity.

The irony is that we already are divine and hiding from this legacy only delays our true nature of joy and unlimited expression of all the fruits of God’s love, or our Christ Consciousness which are according to our scriptures “joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness” (Galatians 5:22).

I have spoken at other times, of the Divine qualities of Love, Peace, Joy and Kindness.  Every one of us has experienced the generosity of God, of others in our lives and our own impulse to be generous. And what Joy it brings to us to share from our hearts who we are and how we can serve our brothers and sisters.  A divine generosity that only sees through the eyes of unconditional Love and cannot help but to share the Joy that overflows from that Heart.

God is the Principle that is living as me and You and in every corner of every universe.  God energy activates our bodies, is the breath that we breathe and the name we call ourselves. This is true, like the law of Gravity.  Source doesn’t need us to believe in this Presence for this life energy be in and to act as us.     What Joy of Generosity!

There is no duality, no separation from God except in our beliefs that give power to the misunderstanding that there could be evil, fear, guilt, disease and need for judgement and punishment.  It is all a belief that we have been playing with in this reality.

The Source of All that is has generously already given us everything that we could need or want to express our curiosity, our creativity and our unlimited potential.   Together with Free Will we are free to imagine, and to create from this overflowing generosity and abundance. What exquisite JOY!

 God’s generosity is so great that the saying is “You cannot out-give God.” All of God Love energy is already present right here and now for us to draw from and create heaven on earth.

Give from your heart and not from obligation.

Cultivate the Garden of Generosity within Yourself. Fill your own cup, as Generosity cannot start with scarcity consciousness.  Honor the Christ consciousness within yourself by caring for your own wellbeing, without guilt or selfishness. 

Honor your needs and feed your spiritual nature through prayer and meditation.

Let go what no longer serves you, especially negative thinking, resentments and fear.   Be generous in Love for the courage that it took to come to this plane of reality, that can be harsh.  Find the time to do what you love and fills you with joy.

Bring into your life a generous spirit of unlimited love for your miraculous Self.  Take care of your physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of your Self.  This life is a gift so please treat yourself as the divine, joyful and holy one! 

Five ways to Pray for Others - a Generous Act of Love in Action!

Prayer is holding the Divine vision of whomever we are praying for as their Divine and Perfect Holy Self that is the Truth of them and not on whatever circumstances are causing the distress.  Not denying, just not obsessing and ruminating about what might be wrong.  Instead calling in the Divine to hold and transform the situation according to the soul’s highest good (which we don’t presume to know).
