The Universe Opens a Door
Will you be ready to walk through?

Every August I find myself paying closer attention.
Lion’s Gate opens. Eclipse season follow. Over many years, I have come to recognize these weeks as a sacred threshold; a time when greater frequencies of consciousness become more available. They invite us into a larger experience of ourselves and awaken capacities that have been quietly waiting beneath the surface.
The opportunity is always present. Recognizing it is another matter.
When we understand what these gateways offer, we can cooperate with them. We become more receptive. More attentive. We begin to move with the current rather than against it. The nervous system gradually learns to accommodate greater frequencies of love, wisdom, and awareness. What once felt unfamiliar begins to feel natural.
Reflecting back on the stories of our lives, we can see the hand of destiny working.
Following the current of love, I moved to Port Angeles over ten years ago. Immediately, I met people who introduced me to members of Oakbridge Community. Eva McGinnis felt like an old friend I’ve known for millennia. Through her invitation, I found myself sitting on a pink flowered sofa in the living room of Judith Coates, channel for Jeshua the Personal Christ. While the words in the live channel sessions called me in, the palpable Presence of Divine Love of the Master activated my soul.
How has soul destiny guided your life?
Jeshua spoke of our time in a way that has given my soul a touch point:
“All of you have felt within your heart that this lifetime has been challenging. You have felt that this place is not your Home. You have felt that there is a reason, a purpose, that you are here, but you aren’t quite sure what it is, and you want to know. You are feeling that sensitivity again to energy of change, and you are coming not to a very pivotal time.”
I suspect many of us recognize that feeling.
There is an inner knowing that we came to participate in something important. We may not have understood it when we were younger. We simply carried the feeling that our lives were meant to contribute in ways we could not yet describe. Now, as humanity moves through extraordinary change, that quiet knowing is awakening again.
Lion’s Gate and the eclipses are reminders.
Jeshua offered a beautiful perspective that is shaping how I experience these celestial events:
“You… are putting the signs in the heavens to read them as a reminder, symbolism. The signs in the heavens do not dictate what you are going to experience. It is the other way around… you are the one who is ready now for change.”
That changes the conversation completely.
The heavens are not directing our lives. They are reflecting our readiness. The gateways do not create our awakening. They announce an opportunity to receive what our soul has been preparing for.
This year, I find myself contemplating another question.
If the universe periodically opens doorways into greater frequencies of consciousness, what capacities must we intentionally cultivate to walk through them?
Perhaps this is the real purpose of these sacred seasons.
Not simply to have unusual experiences, or to collect spiritual insights.
To become more capable of living from Christ Consciousness in our everyday lives.
Love becomes steadier.
Discernment grows clearer.
Compassion deepens.
Our ability to remain present in the midst of uncertainty expands.
These are not accomplishments. They are capacities. Life develops them as we become willing to receive more of what is being offered.
Jeshua reminds us that we are living at the completion of a great cycle:
“You have come to a place now of completion with the cycles… You stand now in a most wonderful time, because you are approaching the culmination where you will choose, you individually and you collectively, which way your next cycle is going to go.:
I often return to this counsel.
It reminds me that the future is not simply something that happens to us. We are participating in its creation through the quality of consciousness we bring to each day. Every choice toward love, forgiveness, compassion, integrity, and wisdom strengthens those same qualities within the collective human family.
Perhaps this is why Lion’s Gate and the eclipses matter so much.
They help us remember.
They remind us to pause long enough to receive the frequencies that support the next stage of our own becoming.
A Little Bit of Homework
During the weeks of Lion’s Gate and the eclipses, set aside ten quiet minutes each day.
Begin with a simple prayer:
“I welcome the highest good available to me today. May I receive it with grace. May every activation, every healing, and every insight prepare me to serve with greater love.”
Then sit quietly.
Don’t ask for messages.
Don’t try to make something happen.
Simple become available.
Contemplate This
As the universe opens this doorway, ask yourself each day:
What capacity is awakening within me?
Notice what changes over the course of the month.
You may discover that the greatest gift of Lion’s Gate is not an extraordinary experience.
It is becoming more fully the person your soul came here to be.
